Description

The statistics on care services is based on the requirements of the Pflegefondsgesetz and the Pflegedienstleistungsstatistik-Verordnung. The collected data are about the following seven services of long-term care of provinces and municipalities: Outpatient services, everyday life support and relief services, semi-inpatient services, inpatient services, short-term care, alternative living facilities, case and care management. 24 hour care, help for people with a disibility and refugee relief are out of scope.

Data collection is carried out every year till the end of September about the previous year. The statistical results are published by the end of the year and are included in the publication Österreichischer Pflegevorsorgebericht.
