Description

Depending on the source, the results on part-time work are based either on self-assignment of the employed persons or on pay slip information. The part-time rate is the share of part-time employees in all employed persons.

Part-time work and the part-time rate can be presented by gender, age, education, reasons for part-time work, occupational status (self-employed, employed), economic sector (ÖNACE) and region. In addition, time series are offered. The results come from the Austrian microcensus labour force survey (sample survey) as well as the Register-based Labour Market Statistics (administrative data).
